Description	Front body control module (FBCM) power supply voltage high input
Detection condition	• Front body control module (FBCM) power supply circuit voltage of 14.2 V or more is detected for 10 s or more with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	• DTCs are stored in the PCM. • Battery malfunction • Generator malfunction • Front body control module (FBCM) malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM) DTCs AGAIN • Clear the DTC for the front body control module (FBCM) using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM)].) • Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 10 s or more. • Retrieve the front body control module (FBCM) DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM)].) • Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Go to Step 6.
2	VERIFY PCM DTCs • Retrieve the PCM DTCs using the M-MDS. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.5T)].) • Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.5T)].)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	INSPECT BATTERY • Inspect the battery. (See BATTERY INSPECTION.) • Is the battery normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
3		No	Replace the battery, then go to Step 5. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4	INSPECT GENERATOR • Inspect the generator. (See GENERATOR INSPECTION [WITHOUT i-ELOOP (SKYACTIV-G 2.5T)].) (See GENERATOR INSPECTION [WITH i-ELOOP (SKYACTIV-G 2.5T)].) • Is the generator normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
4		No	Replace the generator, then go to the next step. (See GENERATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [WITHOUT i-ELOOP (SKYACTIV-G 2.5T)].) (See GENERATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [WITH i-ELOOP (SKYACTIV-G 2.5T)].)
5	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED • Clear the DTC for the front body control module (FBCM) using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM)].) • Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 10 s or more. • Retrieve the front body control module (FBCM) DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM)].) • Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. • If the malfunction recurs, replace the front body control module (FBCM). (See FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) Go to the next step.
5		No	Go to the next step.
6	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED • Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [FRONT BODY CONTROL MODULE (FBCM)].)
6		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
